JAMMU, May 7: Six persons including a woman were injured today in two separate road accidents occurred in Gandhi Nagar and Muthi areas of Jammu.
According to a police official, a speeding car rammed into the parapet on National Highway at Gandhi Nagar, resulting into injuries to 4 of its occupants namely Ayush Sharma (18) of Brij Nagar, Tushar (18) of Nanak Nagar, Harsh (18) of Nanak Nagar and Rahil (19) of Digiana.
“Meanwhile, a rashly driven car hit a scooty in Muthi area and injured its rider Amanpal Singh (35) and pillion rider, Gurdeep Kour, both residents of Jhiri (Kanachak),” the official said.
He said all six injured persons were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. “While condition of Gurdeep Kour was critical, other injured persons were stable,” he said, adding, in both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
