Six injured in separate road accidents

JAMMU, Aug 31: Six persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a 32-year old man was injured when the bike he was riding on, was hit by a mini-bus near Poonch House in Talab area. The injured has been identified as Amar Krishan son of Girdhari Lal, a resident of Tomal, Anand Nagar, Bohri.
A motorcyclist identified as Sajid Ahmed (30) of Bathindi, was also injured when an unknown vehicle hit his bike at Chatha falling under the limits of police station Miran Sahib.
A bike-borne youth was injured when his two-wheeler got slipped near office of Director Health, Jammu. The injured has been identified as Vikram Singh (28) son of Krishan Singh, a resident of New Plot.
A couple also got injured in the collision of a tipper and a container at Bantalab, Nagrota. The injured have been identified as Jaswant Singh (45) son of Rashpal Singh, a resident of Doda and his wife Radha Devi.
An accident also occurred at Flora area falling under the limits of Jhajjar Kotli, where a car bearing Registration No JK02AP-9314 hit a bike bearing Registration No JK02AQ-7992. In the mishap, the bike rider identified as Karnail Singh (45) son of Chandan Singh of Katra suffered injuries following which he was shifted to GMCH for treatment.
In all cases the concerned police have taken cognizance.
