Six injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Mar 25: Six persons including four of a family were injured today in separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a couple and their two children were injured when a bike on which they were travelling was hit by a mini-bus near Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar. The injured persons were identified as Balveer Kumar (30) son of Madan Lal, resident of Trikuta Nagar, his wife, Garo Devi (28) and their two children namely Raghav (7) and Shaijal (5).
A pedestrian namely Monika Sharma (35) wife of Kapil Sharma, resident of Raghunath Pura, was hit and injured by a tempo at Jewel. A motorcyclist identified as Sushil Kumar (29) son of Hans Raj, resident of Nagrota, also got injured when an unknown vehicle hit his bike at Nagrota.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
