JAMMU, Mar 16: Six Government employees including Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Kishtwar and Assistant Director (AD) Planning posted in Deputy Commissioner (DC) Office Kishtwar were placed under suspension for remaining absent from duties without informing the higher authorities.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Mohammad Javed Khan paid a surprise visit to his office and found 6 employees including CPO Kishtwar and AD Planning absent.
Acting strictly, DC ordered suspension of all the six employees, which include Subash Chander, CPO Kishtwar, Akhil Thakur, AD Planning, Mushtaq Ahmed, Head Assistant DC office, Mushtaq Ahmed, Peon DC office, Asif Iqbal and Rehana Banoo, both Class IV employee of DC Office.
DC also sought explanation from CPO Kishtwar and AD Planning for remaining absent and also constituted Enquiry Commission.
