Srinagar, Oct 21: Police today said that six structures including a Government School were damaged in two separate fire incidents in Kulgam and Shopian districts of south Kashmir.
A police spokesman said the fire broke out in Government Girls School Wattoo at DH Pora area of Kulgam, resulting in the damage to the structure. Fire was brought under control by the help of fire tenders, he added.
The spokesman said the fire broke out in the residential house of Wali Mohammad Wagay, a resident of Baderhama village of Shopian, and which engulfed the nearby residential house of Mushtaq Ahmad and three cowsheds, resulting in damage to all the structures.
“Fire tenders brought fire under control. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in these incidents,” the police spokesman added.
