Six vehicles seized for illegal transportation of mining material

UDHAMPUR, June 3: Udhampur Police today seized six vehicles involved in illegal transportation of mining material in the jurisdiction of Police Post Tikri.
Police team of Police Post Tikri, led by Incharge Police Post PSI Abdul Satar, seized these vehicles, which were carrying sand and gravels, illegally excavated from river beds.
Registration numbers of the seized vehicles are; JK14D- 0433, JK20- 5645, JK14- 8733, JK14C-6253 JK14F- 5571 and JK02AD- 4489. These were later handed over to Geology and Mining Department for legal action.
The drive was conducted under the supervisionn of SSP Udhampur Dr. Vinod Kumar.
