JAMMU, Jan 21: The Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change has appointed Suresh Kumar Gupta, a 1991 batch officer of the AGMUT cadre of the Indian Forest Service (IFS), as the new Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Head of Forest Force (HoFF) for Jammu and Kashmir.
As per an order, Gupta, who is currently serving as PCCF (Ex-cadre) in J&K, will assume the new role effective February 1, 2025, following the retirement of the current incumbent on January 31, 2025.
He will serve in Level-17 of the Pay Matrix with a salary of Rs 2, 25, 000 contingent upon his formal assumption of charge.
