JAMMU, Feb 4: Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club (SKCC) defeated Spartans Cricket Club by 42 runs in an exhibition match played at Satwari Cricket ground, here.
After winning toss, SKCC decided to bat first. Batting first, SKCC scored a big total of 179 runs by losing 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Pankaj Khajuria top scored with 68 runs off 42 balls, while Anil Langeh and Happy scored 38 and 25 runs respectively.
For Spartans Club, Aman Sharma and Shubham took two wicket each, while Nitin took one wicket.
Chasing target, Spartans bundled out for 137 runs and lost the match by 42 runs. Aman Singh scored 44 runs while Aman Sharma scored 25 runs. From SKCC, skipper Aman Cheema and Abhinav Khajuria took 3 wickets each. Pankaj Khajuria took 2 while Happy and Sumit claimed 1 wicket each.
Pankaj khajuria was adjudged as the man of the match for his all round performance.
