SRINAGAR: Reacting to Governor Satya Pal Malik allegedly exposing scams in the State committed during previous PDP-BJP regime, National Conference (NC) vice president Omar Abdullah said more skeletons are falling out of the cupboard.
However, the State Government has denied the report that appeared in the local newspaper in connection with an interview given by the Governor to a Delhi-based news channel on Saturday. “More skeletons fall out of the cupboard – PDP-BJP changed entire select list of J&K Bank to appoint favourites: Guv,” Mr Abdullah, who is the former chief minister of the State, wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
Mr Abdullah was reacting to Mr Malik’s interview with a national news channel, during which he said a complete selection list of 582 candidates in J&K Bank was set aside to appoint political workers in their place and raised serious question mark on the working of Public Services Commission (PSC). “A youth was selected for KAS even without appearing in the examinations,” the Governor had said.
