Srinagar, Oct 14: The Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, has cancelled the appointment of a Nursing Aid after it was revealed that the appointee submitted a “fake” class 12 certificate.
According to the appointment cancellation order issued, the National Institute of Open Schooling has indicated that the details of the certification do not exist in their records.
“The NIOS exam record shows that Roll Number 215430682034 does not exist. It is evident from this fact that the copy of the document sent by you for verification is not genuine,” the SKIMS order stated, quoting the response from the relevant authorities.
The appointment was made on an academic arrangement basis in favour of one Sandoor Kumar, son of Suram Chand, a resident of tehsil Bhamag in district Reasi.
The appointee had already submitted an affidavit stating that, in the event of an adverse report from the police or if the documents are found to be fake, the appointment shall be cancelled with immediate effect and legal action will be initiated as per the law.
