Srinagar, Mar 24: Following directions from the Secretary of the Health & Medical Education (H&ME) Department, SKIMS Soura announced today that the process has been initiated to introduce a QR Code System at payment counters.
In a statement issued here, the SKIMS PRO stated that in response to the directive for implementing the QR code system from the H&ME Department to expedite payment processes, SKIMS has commenced the process for enabling online payments at all counters.
“The Medical Superintendent of SKIMS has informed that currently, there is online payment with QR Code available at one counter in the OPD service area. Additionally, a scan and share facility is also available,” the PRO said.
SKIMS further stated that the process has now been initiated to implement the QR Code System on each counter, with the aim of making the facility available to patients soon to enhance patient care services at SKIMS.
“In addition, SKIMS has functional POS Machines on all cash counters in the OPD as well as in the pharmacy.”
