UDHAMPUR, Mar 23: Sher-I-Kashmir Police Academy conducted one week capsule training course for 30 Assistant Directors of Forest Protection Force of Jammu and Kashmir Forest Department.
The first ever one week capsule course was conducted on the request of the Director of Forest Protection Force that the Asstt. Directors of Forest Protection Force be trained by the Sher-I-Kashmir Police Academy on the aspects of Inter and Intra Departmental behaviour, filing of charge sheets in Civil and Criminal matters, handling and firing from small arms, outdoor training, investigation of cases related to forest offences, relevant Sections of RPC/Cr PC/Evidence Act/ Local and Special laws concern in the performance of the duties of the officers of Forest Protection Force.
The course module was prepared and the course was inaugurated by the Director SKPA Mohd. Sulaiman Salaria, ADGP. During the course highly experienced faculty interacted and deliberated with the participants. Those who deliberated and interacted with the participants included Kamal Sharma, CPO, Randheer Singh SSP AD(O), Vijay Soodan Sr.PO, Rohit Koul Scientific Officer, Vikram Parihar Sr PO, Sunil Sharma, Sr PO, Inspr Davinder Singh, Inspr Anu Kumar, Inspr Jaagpal Sharma.
Diverse range of subjects concerning the working and performance of duty of the officers were discussed threadbare and doubts were cleared by the participants by open house discussions.
While validating the course, Mohd. Sulaiman Salaria, Director Sher-I-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur, expressed satisfaction over the conduct of course and stressed upon the officers to implement the knowledge and skill that they gained from the course in saving the mankind from perishing by saving the life line of mankind i.e. Green Gold from being plundered and destroyed by the unscrupulous elements and also bring the offenders of the forest takes to justice.
The course coordinator Kamal Sharma, CPO, during valediction, apprised the Director about the contents of the course and the performance of the Asstt Directors of Forest Protection Force Officers in the course.
At the end course participation certificates and mementos were distributed by the Director Sher-I-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur.
