SKS flays separatists for hampering relief, rescue operations

JAMMU, Sept 18: Sampuran Kashmiri Sangathan (SKS) today expressed its displeasure over the role of some separatist organizations creating hurdles in distribution of relief to the flood hit people by the Indian forces and demanded action against them.
President of the Sangathan, Rakesh Kaul said that at this juncture every one should come forward to help Army, NDRF and Indian Air Force who are engaged in relief and rehabilitation of flood victims of the State.
He said the people who can’t understand the gravity of the situation and devastation caused by nature in Kashmir are worst enemies of people their and it is high time for them to identify these people and teach them a lesson once for all.
Mr Kaul appealed the members of his Sangathan to dedicate themselves for the services of flood hit people in the State. He said instead of criticizing Omar Abdullah Government people should extend full support to it in rehabilitation of flood victims and land slide hit people in the State.
The Sangathan also complimented the timely steps and prompt action taken by Union Government led by Narendra Modi to evacuate the flood hit people by starting relief and rescue operations in the State. Had Mr Modi not taken the prompt action the devastation could have been much more, it added.
The Sangathan also decided to send its volunteers round with relief material to the flood hit areas in both the regions of the State.
