JAMMU, Oct 2: Reiterating the demand of settling the Pandits in Sampooran Kashmir, the leaders of Sampooran Kashmir Sangthan (SKS) today said that entire Kashmir belongs to Pandits and Government should take steps for their honorable and dignified rehabilitation there.
In a statement issued here today, Rakesh Koul its president said that his organization is for abrogation of Article 370 with free flow of Indian Constitution in Kashmir.
He accused the successive Governments of neglecting the plight of Pandits leading an exiled life for over 26 years now. The SKS has taken serious note of Government’s policies towards the displaced Pandits and if the same does not change the organization will start a jail Baro Andolan and also go on fast unto death.
He appealed all KP organizations to come on a single platform and fight for the rights unitedly.
He also demanded a CBI probe against the killings of Pandits.
The SKS will extend full support in organizing of Maha Kumb at Shadipora next year and will fight for rehabilitation of seven and half lakh Pandits in Valley.
He urged the all nationalist forces to support the struggle. Anoop Koul chairman of the SSKS warned the Government that Pandits will launch a decisive battle for restoration of their rights now as they feel neglected and cheated by successive Governments till date.
