JAMMU, Dec 6: The Agriculture-Festival, organized by SKUAST-Jammu, today entered into its third day.
The guest of honour for the third day of Agri-Fest ‘Kairos 2’ was Altaf Shiekh, Chairman Global Peace Organization. The day started with speech from Dr Parshant Bakshi, Co-chairperson. Sumit and Ifra were judges of various cultural activities, including play, group dance, mimicry and skit. Dr T A S Ganai applauded the students taking part in various activities.
The mesmerizing performances by the participants in various events, including dancing and Pehnava showcased the versatility in the culture of India. Photography, sports events such as 100 m race, badminton, table tennis etc were also held.
The program is being conducted under the chairmanship of Dr D P Abrol, Dean, Faculty of Agriculture. The programme was managed by Dr Parshant Bakshi, Co-Chairman, Dr Arvinder Singh, Co-organizing Secretary, Dr Sanjay Guleria, Dr L K Sharma, Member Secretary, Dr Moni Gupta, Dr Sachin Gupta, Dr Sanjay Khajuria, Dr Kiran Kour, Dr Brijeshwar Bhau, Dr Pradeep Rai and Ali Haider, Joint-Co-organizer.
