JAMMU, Dec 22: Contin-uing the protest in support of their demand for revival of old system of Comprehensive examination, PG students and Ph D scholars of SKUAST Jammu held a strong protest at the main campus Chatha and warned to further intensify the struggle if their demand is not conceded.
During the protest the agitating students raised slogans against the SKUAST authorities holding them responsible for proposing the new system of Comprehensive examination at the end of session.
They also appealed the Vice-Chancellor to intervene into the matter as the concerned Dean and Directors were incompetent to handle the situation. They also accused the Dean Agriculture of threatening them and warned to register a complaint in this regard.
The protesting students vowed to continue the protest till their demand is conceded by the authorities.
