JAMMU, Mar 13: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu was awarded by Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi for securing second position in PG Scholarships to its graduates under programme category Veterinary & Fisheries Science amongst the seventy three Agricultural Universities across the country. The award was presented by Radha Mohan Singh, Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare to Dr Pradeep K Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST of Jammu during the inaugural session of the Annual Vice-Chancellors Conference of Agricultural Universities (AUs) and interface meeting with ICAR Institute Directors at New Delhi.
Meanwhile, Governor N.N. Vohra, Chancellor of Sher-e- Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu, has congratulated Dr. Pradeep. K. Sharma, Vice Chancellor of the University, and his colleagues for the University securing the second position among the 73 State Farm Universities in the country consequent to its students securing 8 Veterinary & Fisheries Sciences Post Graduate Scholarships during the Indian Council of Agricultural Research’s AIEEA-PG-2017 online counselling.
