SKUAST organizes Veterinary clinical camp

JAMMU, Feb 19: Veterinary clinical camp was organized today by Division of veterinary surgery and Radiology, FVSc and AH, SKUAST-J in collaboration with KVK, Samba.
This camp was inaugurated by Director Extension SKUAST J, Dr. S.K Gupta in presence of Dr. M.S Bhadwal, Dean FVSc and AH.
About 101 animals were treated and 83 consultations were provided to the farmers during the camp where three major surgeries were also performed.
Overall programme was supervised by Dr. H.R Bhardwaj, HoD, Division of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology and Dr. Vinod Gupta, Senior Scientist and Head, KVK Samba.
Resource persons from different clinical divisions of FVSc & AH, Dr A.K Gupta, Dr Sanjay Aggrawal, Dr S.R Upadhyay, Dr Sudhir Kumar, Dr Suraj Amrutkar, Dr D.K Dwivedi and Dr Ankur Sharma were also available for consultation and treatment.
Veterinary Assistant Surgeons Dr. Vijay Attri, Dr Parveen Kumar, Dr Neena, Dr Avinash Hansa and paravet staff of Sumb and Samba were also present in the camp.
Various pharmaceutical companies-Virbac Animal Health India, Zydus Animal Health, Ani Health Care Pvt. Ltd., Natural Remedies and Neovet Intas provided their support during the camp.
Postgraduate and Final year Undergraduate students were also present in the camp.
