SKUAST-TAJ discusses welfare of Teaching Association

JAMMU, Apr 26: SKUAST-Teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ) under the chairmanship of its president, Dr. Vikas Sharma held a meeting here today and discussed the welfare of Teaching Association.
Speaking in the meeting Dr. Vikas informed that University has initiated the process for one time settlement of the case of Subject Matter Specialist who is working in the discipline of PBG for which the file containing all necessary documents has been deposited with the Vice Chancellor’s office.
The meeting resolved to address the release of grant of incentive of two non compounded advance increments to scientists who joined between 01.01.2006 to 31.08.2008 with M.Sc degree and release of four advance increments in favour of scientists who joined between 01.01.2006 to 31.08.2008 as Asstt. Professor with Ph.D degree.
Dr. Vivek also said that the up to date statutes of the varsity should be displayed on website.
He stressed for the preparation of discipline wise seniority list of scientific staff of Divisions/Stations/Schemes/KVKs and display of the same at university website.
Vikas also informed that the VC has assured to solve the agenda points as soon as possible.
Dr. Pradeep Kumar Rai-Joint Secretary, Dr. Devinder Sharma-Publicity Secretary, Dr. Rajeev Bharat-Treasurer, Dr. Jai Kumar, Dr Anil Bhat, Dr. Brijesh Ajarawat, Dr. Brahma and other executives of the Association were also present.
