JAMMU, Aug 17: The executive meeting of SKUAST-Teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ) was held under the chairmanship of its president, Dr Vikas Sharma for discussing agendas pertaining to the teaching fraternity.
During the meeting, it was impressed upon that there should be clearance of all pending CAS promotion cases within shortest possible time as it is creating financial liability as well as delaying the promotions of varsity staff. The house asked the authorities to display up to date statutes of the varsity and seniority list on website.
Dr Vikas urged concerned MLA to look into the issue of road connectivity of the university to the nearest town as the present road was in very bad shape for the last few years.
Postponement of general body meeting was also discussed in the meeting, which was attended by Dr Vivek M Arya, Dr Devinder Sharma and others.
Earlier, Dr Rajeev Bharat-treasurer, presented the detailed statement on receipts and expenditure of the Association till date.
