JAMMU, Mar 24:  SKUAST-Teachers Association Jammu has urged Governor N N Vohra to give his nod for approval to the formal proposal for introducing three more faculties and one division in the university.
The appeal was made during an executive body meeting of the SKUAST-TAJ, held today under the chairmanship of its president Dr Vikas Sharma and general secretary Dr Vivek Arya.
“For the reasons best known to the persons at the helm of affairs in the Government administration, the proposal for much required additional faculties viz., Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Horticulture, Faculty of Dairy Technology and Department of Seed Science Technology, has been made hostage to the process of seeking repeated queries for the last one decade,” they said.
The meeting was attended by Dr Devinder Sharma, Dr Rajeev Bharat, Dr P K Rai, Dr Jai Kumar and others.
