JAMMU, Dec 17: Activists of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena here today staged a protest demonstration under the leadership of their President, Ashok Gupta against the Hurriyat Conference march towards Badamibagh Army Headqu-arters.
Taking a dig at the Hurriyat, Hafeez Sayeed and Pakistan Government, Gupta said why there was no protest march by the Hurriyat and its allies when Ayub Pandit, Aurangzeb, SHO Darr and Umar Fayaz were killed.
Addressing the gathering Gupta said: “The incident of Pulwama is very simple as army was engaged in a gun-battle with three Pakistan based terrorists when local stone pelters reached the site and launched an attack on army forcing the latter to retaliate resulting in killing of seven stone pelters.
Gupta further said that these stone pelters are nothing more than Pakistan paid goons who for the purpose of money throw stones on the army during an encounter to help militants to escape.
Gupta also demanded that all those who throw stones on army during encounters should be identified and arrested under PSA.
Bodh Raj, Tony, Tarsem, Rakesh, Sham, Ajay, Mohinder, Kalu, Som Dutt, Bantu and others were also present in the protest.
