VIJAYPUR, Dec 5: Former Minister and MLA Vijaypur,  Surjeet Singh Slathia today addressed various public meetings  at Doulat Chak, Merazpur, Chowni, Nai Basti, Khokhrey Chak, Fallah, Ranjri and  Badhori in Vijaypur constituency.
While addressing the party workers and public Slathia said that the National Conference nurtured peace and gave development and transparency a new dimension during the last six years under the leadership of young and dynamic Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. He asked the people to strengthen the hands of Omar Abdullah for over all development of all the three regions of the State.
Slathia said that the National Conference will emerge as a single largest party in the State and it will form the new Government with clear majority.  He exhorted the people to extend their full support to National Conference, saying this will be support to the forward looking policies and programmes being implemented by Omar led Government for the last six years.
Slathia said the defeated politicians and vested interests don’t want that National Conference should raise the people’s socio-political issues in the highest corridors of power at national and international level. He alleged that these elements are hell bent to weaken NC to throttle the voice of people but they will not succeed in their nefarious designs to divide the people as their double standards have been exposed.
