Slathia for encouraging enrollment in Govt schools

JAMMU, May 6: Minister for Industries and Commerce, S S Slathia today asked the Government teachers to enroll their own wards in the Government run schools to encourage the general parents to follow the suit.
Interacting with the teachers, lecturers, principals and vice principals of Education Department of Vijaypur, who called on him today, the Minister asked the teachers to give their best to the society as they were the real builders of the nation..
After giving a patient hearing to their problems, Slathia assured the visiting teachers’ delegation of his full support in projecting the same at the appropriate forum. He also urged upon the teachers to perform duties with dedication so that people opt to send their children to the Government schools. He asked them to enroll their own kids in the Government schools so that general parents follow the suit.    He also stressed upon the teachers to aware the people regarding quality education in Government institutions.
Among others, Chief Education Officer Samba, Zonal Education Officer Vijaypur, Zonal Education Officer Ramgarh and principals and teachers were also present on the occasion.
