Slathia inaugurates school buildings

SAMBA, Feb 21: MLA Vijaypur Surjeet Singh Slathia today inaugurated new buildings of Government High School, Meen Sarkar (Reor) and Govt. High School, Swankha completed at the cost of Rs.40 lakh each under the scheme RMSA.
He also inaugurated construction of road from Sarore Adda to Lane No. 5 completed at a cost of Rs.1.73 crores.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that with the completion of this road, the people of the area and adjoining villages would be benefited.
Addressing the gathering at Swankha, he said that people’s co-operation is vital for accelerating development process.
He also gave a detailed account of the development projects and welfare schemes launched by the Omar Abdullah led Government in nook and corner of the state.
The people of the area apprised the MLA with their demands and problems. Slathia gave a patient hearing and assured them that all their genuine demands shall be redress soon.
Among others District Development Commissioner, Samba R.K. Verma, CEO, Samba Surinder Mahajan and BDO Vijaypur were also present on the occasion.
