SAMBA, July 5: MLA Vijaypur Surjeet Singh Slathia today inaugurated construction of 3 additional class rooms in Government Middle School, Ramgarh in Vijaypur constituency which have been completed at an estimated cost of Rs.10 lakh under the scheme Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.
He also inaugurated construction of lanes and drains at village Kesso Manhasan which has been completed at an cost of Rs.10 lakh executed by Rural Development Department.
Addressing a gathering, Slathia said that the Coalition Government headed by Omar Abdullah is fully aware of people’s problems and is making all out efforts to fulfill their demands on priority. He reiterated the commitment of the Coalition Government to ensure holistic development of all the regions of the state with special focus on remote, far flung and rural areas. He also said that the state is on the march of peace, progress and development and this tempo will be carried forward with a mission.
Responding to the demands of the people like construction of pending lanes and drains, black topping of the road, replacement of old electric poles and wires, etc. Slathia assured them that their all the demands will be redressed at the earliest. He asked the people to strengthen the hands of Omar Abdullah for future development in the state especially in the rural areas.
Among others BDO Vijaypur, Sarpanchs and Panchs were also present on the occasion.
