Slathia takes stock of people’s grievances

JAMMU, June 18: MLA and former Minister, S S Slathia, today convened a public meeting at Ramgarh to take stock of people’s grievances and demands as well besides assessing the status of development works being done in the area.
The MLA listened to the issues raised by people of Ramgarh and other adjoining areas and asked the officers to look into all these matters for an early redressal to the same.
Speaking on the occasion, Slathia said that the Government is according focused attention on development of far off and border areas with focus on unattended parts. “The people have always extended complete cooperation to the Government in all its endeavors as they are wise enough to judge the credibility and performance of the Government”, he maintained.
Referring to power supply in Ramgarh, Slathia instructed the concerned to speed up the pace on evacuation of power by erection of two new feeders Abtal-II and Nanga-II in upgraded 33/11 KV Receiving Station Ramgarh.
He also directed for further evacuation of power to two new 11 KV feeders Jerda-II and Nandpur-II on receiving station of Nandpur which has already been augmented from 2×6.3 MVA to 10+6.3 MVA.
