JAMMU, Mar 15: For sanctioning and monitoring of the projects to be implemented under the Centrally sponsored scheme ‘Housing For All’ in Jammu and Kashmir, the State Government today accorded sanction for constitution of a State Level Sanctioning-cum-Monitoring (SLSMC).
Headed by Chief Secretary as the Chairman, Administrative Secretaries of Planning and Development Department, Forest, HUDD, Finance Department, PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control Department and Revenue Department besides Commissioner Municipal Corporation Jammu/Srinagar, Director Urban Local Bodies Kashmir/Jammu and Convener Lead Bank shall be Members of the SLSMC while Managing Director J&K Housing Board shall be Member Secretary.
The terms of reference of the committee shall be; overall implementation of Housing For All (Urban) Mission; approval of plan of action, annual implementation plan, DPRs and annual quality monitoring plans; review progress of approved projects in the State and citifies, monitoring of implementation of the Mission and any other issue required for effective implementation of the Mission.
