KATRA, June 27: Police today arrested two drug peddlers and seized 4 gms of smack powder from their possession.
During routine checking by Police at PCP Moori, a Scooty without registration number was stopped when it was coming from Domail side. On search of two Scooty riders, smack powder weighing two gms, was recovered from each of them.
Police seized the narcotics and arrested both the accused, who were identified as Sunny Singh, son of Hem Raj of Counter No. 02 Katra and pillion rider Surinder Kumar son of Gopal Krishan of Matyal Katra.
In this connection, a case FIR/No: 120/17 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Katra.
