SRINAGAR, Dec 17: Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) today sealed a structure at Rajbagh for the gross violation of Master Plan and BOCA norms.
In a statement, the media relations officer of SMC, Masrat Yousuf said that SMC with the assistance of SHO Rajbagh sealed the premises of Parvaiz Majid Baba, resident of Gunzkhud Zaina Kadal, Srinagar at Rajbagh. Masrat said the sealing was undertaken under the supervision of Joint Commissioner Planning SMC Farzana Nakshbandhi in presence of Joint Commissioner Administration SMC Fayaz Ahmed Balla and Executive Magistrate.
“The building permission was granted to the applicant for construction of three storied residential house after dismantling the existing building as per terms and conditions of building permission. However, the owner constructed five storied commercial complex in place of the residential house,” said Masrat.
