SMJ releases book ‘Meel Pathar Bula Raha Hai’

JAMMU, Mar 27: Sanskriti Manch Jammu (SMJ) here today organised a poster exhibition on Sheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh and poetry of Avtar Singh Passh.
A poetry book by Manoj Sharma ‘Meel Pathar Bula Raha Hai’ and Punjabi translated version of some of his selected poems was also released on this occasion.
The book ‘Meel Pathar Bula Raha Hai’ has been translated and edited by Artinder Sandhu, senior poet and editor of Punjabi magazine ‘Ekam’.
In his welcome address SMJ general secretary, Sheikh Mohd Kalyan informed about future programmes by the organisation.
Renowned writer Maharaj Krishan Santoshi and former Secretary of Cultural Academy, Ramesh Mehta presided over the function.
In his paper, established writer, editor, cinema personality, Dr Baljeet Raina said that these poems deeply give impression on our inner-self and it is a lamp of light for young writers.
Famous young poet, Kamaljeet Chaudhary in his paper ‘Meel Pathar Bula Raha Hai’ said that spindle of this poetry is mass movement.
Presiding address was delivered by Santoshi.
Ramesh Mehta underlined the journey of SMJ.
Prominent writers, artists were also present on the occasion.
The programme was conducted by renowned theatre personality and musician, Raj Kumar Behrupia.
