JAMMU, June 14: BJP Child Development Cell started immunity booster camp with the help of Indian System of Medicine’s (Ayush) Department here at Bakshi Nagar Canal Road today.
The camp was inaugurated by BJP former MLC and State general secretary, Vibodh Gupta in presence of Munish Sharma senior party leader Prem Gupta and Pawan Kesar State convenor Child Development Cell of the party.
Speaking on the occasion Vibodh Gupta complimented the LG administration for taking bold and intelligent steps which helped to contain COVID-19 Second Wave in J&K. At the same time he called upon the administration to take all steps in a phased manner for unlock so that economic activities can again be given boost.
While requesting the citizens to make their individual contributions, Vibodh called upon everyone to follow COVID appropriate behaviour in letter and spirit.
On this occasion, Vibodh also appreciated BJP workers who through their selfless efforts helped thousands of people during peak time of the second COVID-19 wave. While referring to the role of opposition parties like Congress, NC and PDP, Vibodh said that these parties did nothing except spreading rumours and negativity. Common masses will never spare them for their such a criminal absence when they were expected to contribute maximum, Vibodh added.
Prominent among others who were present on the occasion included BJYM State vice president, Shery Sethi, Hari Om Sharma, Charanjeet Singh, Rinku Chouhan, Sakshi Jammal and district president, Prabhat Singh attended this immunity booster camp.
In this camp more than 400 families were given immunity booster medicines to fight the COVID-19 virus.
