RAJOURI, Aug 7: The police arrested a bovine smuggler and rescued four milch animals from his possession in Thannamandi area of district Rajouri early today.
Reports said that a police party led by SHO Thannamandi during nakka early today intercepted four animals being carried towards Mughal Road on foot by one Mohd Ayub, son of Raj Mohammad, resident of Nerojal, Thannamandi. He failed to provide any valid documents. The police arrested him and registered a case in this connection.
