JAMMU, May 12: City police today arrested an intoxicant drug smuggler from near SMGS hospital at Shalamar Chowk and recovered 31 intoxicant injections from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Vishal Gupta son of Prem Gupta, a resident of Gandhi Nagar.
AT the time of arrest, police recovered 31 intoxicant injections from the possession of accused. He had smuggled the injections from Punjab for selling it among the drug addicts here.
Police parties headed by SHO City Inspector Basanti Bhat and Incharge SMGS Police Post Sub Inspector Kirti Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO City Kulbir Handa.
