KATRA, June 9: On the persistent demand of Hotel & Restaurant Association of Katra, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super Speciality Hospital has been empanelled in the panel of ESIC (Employees State Insurance Corporation) for Super Specialty treatments in the first stage and would be empanelled for secondary treatments as well in the near future.
This was disclosed by A K Arya, Regional Director and Om Parkash, State Medical Commissioner ESIC, in a meeting organized by Hotel & Restaurant Association Katra at Katra.
While speaking on the occasion, Arya and Om Parkash elaborated in detail the policies, programmes and schemes of ESIC for the benefit of the employees and particularly the latest Scheme to Promote Registration of Employers & Employees (SPREE), in which the units can register its employees any time before 30th June without any backdated arrears, penalities or fines because this scheme is only till 30th June. They further said that for the facilitation of the units,  the ESIC employees will sit in Hotel Malti Palace, Katra on every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday till 30th so that more and more units may register themselves under this scheme.
Rakesh Wazir, president of Hotel and Restaurant Association  Katra,  while speaking on the occasion,  said that empanelment of SMVD Narayana in the panel of ESIC will prove to be a mile stone in the sector of health,  particularly for the employees and their families. He  asked the department for further simplification in the procedures of registration of employees, refund of bills, referring of patients to the empannelled hospitals and other works.
Kesar elaborated  the things in detail viz-a-viz taking all efforts in empanelment of SMVD Narayana in the panel of ESIC.
Prominent among those,  present in the meeting,  included Rakesh Ranajan,  Employees Social Welfare Officer, Nishant Sharma, Raj Kumar, Sudershan Sharma, Rakesh Charak, Rajinder Singh besides representatives and owners of most of the hotels of Katra.
