KATRA, Aug 13: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi (SMVD) Shrine Board organized an interaction cum mega feast (Bada Khana) function at Adhkuwari today, recognizing the Best Performing Unit during 2023-24 and reaffirming its commitment to employee’s welfare.
Anshul Garg, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), SMVD Shrine Board, accompanied by a team of officers, interacted with employees at the Adhkuwari Complex, nestled in the tranquil foothills of the Trikuta Mountains. He announced that a new langar facility will soon be opened at Adhkuwari as per the directions of Shrine Board Chairman (LG Manoj Sinha) with an aim to provide comfort and convenience to the devotees and Group-C employees as well.
He emphasized that due to the dedicated efforts of employees and the blessings of the Divine, the number of pilgrims visiting the Holy Shrine has significantly increased over the past two years. This surge, he said, is attributed to the safe and spiritually enriching experience provided to millions of devotees, making their yatra a truly memorable and fulfilling one.
Garg stressed all the employees to ensure greater facilitation of pilgrims visiting the Holy Cave Shrine, which have been widely acclaimed, adding that all of us need to redouble our efforts and no stone should be left unturned to provide best possible services to the pilgrims.
The CEO highlighted significant measures for employee’s welfare, including enhancement of hardship allowance for high-altitude postings, promotions and restructuring of cadres for better promotional avenues, higher pay scales and enhancement in special Diwali incentive, free langar facilities and transport services for employees besides, children education allowance for all eligible employees.
He interacted with staff on skill upgradation, personnel matters, welfare initiatives and sanitation aspects. Appreciations were also given to outstanding employees. Staff presented soulful bhajans on the occasion.
