BHADERWAH, Oct 4: A Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) employee, who got seriously injured in accident at village Daliana and was undergoing treatment at District Hospital Doda, succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Suresh Kumar (48), son of Parkash Sharma, a resident of village Rainda.
As reported, three persons got critically injured, when the Alto car bearing registration number JK06-5649, they were traveling in from village Mantha to Bhaderwah yesterday landed into gorge.
After getting information, police team and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah, where two were declared as brought dead and the third injured person was referred to District Hospital (DH) Doda for advanced treatment.
The deceased were identified as 42-year-old Angad Kumar (forest guard), son of Parkash Sharma, a resident of village Rainda and 52-year-old Shiv Kumar (private fertilizer supplier), son of Attar Chand of village Milani.
The injured 48-year-old Suresh Kumar, who was undergoing treatment at District Hospital Doda, succumbed to his injuries late last night. He was an employee with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), Katra.
The bodies of the deceased were handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
A case in this regard stands registered at Bhaderwah police station and investigation of the case is going on.
Meanwhile, MLA Bhaderwah Daleep Singh has expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in the tragic road accident and prayed for eternal peace to the department souls.
