SMVDU organizes expert lecture on Nano-electronics, VLSI

KATRA, Apr 16: The school of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) today organized an expert lecture on ‘Nano-electronics and VLSI’.
Prof Sudeb Dasgupta, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering IIT Roorkee was the speaker. The lecture was attended by the students, scholars and faculty members of the school.
Prof Dasgupta spoke about the importance of Nanoelectronics and its relevance viz-a-viz the field of electronics in general and further elaborated on the design of analog and digital systems on nanoscale.
The school of E&CE regularly organizes expert lectures and workshops in leading research and technology areas to ensure that the students of B Tech, M Tech and PhD programme are kept abreast of the latest research in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
The event was coordinated by Ashish Suri, Assistant Professor and T&P Coordinator of the school.
