SMVDU Professor presents paper at IMDA world business congress

JAMMU, June 5: Prof D Mukhopadhyay, Dean Faculty of Management, SMVDU, presented a paper during 24th annual world business congress of International Management Development Association (IMDA), USA, hosted by Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Famagustra, North Cyprus, last week.
The paper, entitled “Adoption of Banking Technologies in Jammu and Kashmir Region of India: An Empirical Study”, was jointly authored by Prof D Mukhopadhyay and Dr Pabitra Kumar Jena, Assistant Professor, School of Economics SMVDU.
The theme of the congress was “Regional and International Competitiveness: Defining National and Governmental Drivers of Productivity, Efficiency, Growth and Profitability”.
The paper, presented by Prof Mukhopadhyay, was included under the sub-theme of the congress entitled “Global challenges in Technology Management”. More than one hundred delegates deliberated and took part in the congress. Countries represented at the congress included Denmark, India, Kuwait, Macau, Mexico, Morocco, Peoples Republic of China, Poland, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sweden, Turkey, Cyprus, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States of America.
