KATRA, Apr 3: A workshop cum Board of Studies (BoS) meeting of the School of Languages and Literature at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University was held to design the course structure and course curriculum according to NEP-2020.
The School of Languages and Literature is going to start the four- year Undergraduate Program from the coming academic year. A detailed discussion was carried out in the workshop by the external experts and faculty members of the School of Languages and Literature.
Prof Nagendra Kumar from IIT Roorkee, Prof R P Singh from the University of Lucknow, Prof AnupamaVohra from the University of Jammu, Prof Monika Sharma from the Cluster University of Jammu, Dr A K Das, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and other faculty members of the School of Languages and Literature attended the workshop.
During the proceeding of the workshop, detailed discussion and brainstorming were done on the said course structure. Valuable suggestions and fruitful thoughts given by the experts were incorporated in the programmes.
Dr Anurag Kumar, Head, School of Languages and Literature, SMVDU, admired all the experts for their valuable suggestions and active participation in the workshop.
Dr IshaMalhotra, Coordinator of the workshop, gave the vote of thanks to all the experts and faculty members for successful completion of the workshop cum BoS.
