JAMMU, June 1: Bus Stand police arrested a snatcher today.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bus Stand Police Station led by SHO Inspector Rajesh Jasrotia conducted raid in Lakkar Mandi area of Janipur and apprehended a snatcher.
The accused has been identified as Ajit Sharma, son of Tirath Ram, a resident of Lakkar Mandi, Janipur.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 25/19 under section 382 and 34 RPC with Police Station Bus Stand.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain their involvement in other snatching cases.
