JAMMU, Mar 10: Sant Nirankari Mandal, (SNM) branch Akhnoor organized a free eye check-up and operation camp, here today.
About 550 patients were examined by the team of doctors and 76 patients were diagnosed for surgery and their operations will be done free of cost. Free food and medicines are to be provided to these patients during this camp by Sant Nirankari Mandal. Volunteers of Sant Nirankari Sewadal will perform their selfless services day and night during this camp.
The camp was inaugurated by Sham Lal Sharma, Minister PHE & Irrigation. He greeted and appreciated Sant Nirankari Mission for their activities by offering selfless services for the benefit and welfare of mankind and congratulated them for serving the humanity.
Sansar Chand, Sanyojak, Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Akhnoor, personally welcomed all the patients, chief guest, dignitaries and prominent citizens of the city.
Rev Ajit Singh, Zonal Incharge, Zone 1, J&K, Sant Nirankari Mandal thanked all for organizing camp and also highlighted the activities of Nirankari Mission and presented the vote of thanks.
Chief Medical Officer and Block Medical Officer, Akhnoor gave their full co-operation in organizing this camp. Satpal, Ram Mehta, Dr Karnail, and several spiritual and prominent citizens of the town present in the camp.
