SRINAGAR : The air traffic from Srinagar International Airport was disrupted due to fresh snowfall, since early this morning.
An official of the airport said that so far, no morning flight could operate from the Srinagar airport as it was still snowing. He said the runway is also under snow and the visibility is also poor. However, he said the flights have not so far been cancelled.
”We are watching the weather conditions and flights will be resumed as soon as there is some improvement,” he added.
This is the second time air traffic from Srinagar airport was disrupted due to snowfall. On January 6, air traffic remained suspended for three days, due to snowfall and poor visibility. (AGENCIES)
