SHIMLA: Many places of Kinnaur, Shimla, Kullu Chamba and Lahaul Spiti district of State recorded Snowfall and rain increasing cold-wave in the state.
Met office recorded 30 cm each Snowfall at Kothi in Kullu district, Gondla in Lahaul Spiti, Keylong 12cm, Khadrala and Shalro of Shimla 10 cm, Manali in Kullu eight cm , Morrang in Kinnaur five cm, Pooh, Dalhousie in Chamba four cm and Kalpa three cm.
High reaches of Kinnaur, Kullu and Lahaul Spiti district wrapped by thick blanket of snow in the state as Dhauladhar ranges of Kangra district, Manimehash and Sachpass of Chamba, Rohtang pass lady of Keylong Seven sisters hill Goshal hill Baralacha and Kunzum pass of Lahaul Spiti district, Kinner Kailash of Kinnuar, Churdhar of Shimla district received heavy snowfall in last 24 hrs.
Berthin in Hamirpur 30 cm, Mehre in Kangra 29 cm, Naina Devi in Bilaspur 28 mm, Chamba 26 mm, Palampur 25 mm, Guller and Joginder Nagar 24mm, Nagrota Suriyan, Sujanpur Tira in Hamipur and Seobagh in Kullu 23 mm, Nadaun in Hamipur, Jhunduta in Bilaspur , Kangra at Dalhousie 20 mm.
Bharmour in Chamba, Dharmshala in Kangra and Una 19mm, Bhuntar in Kullu 18 mm, Mandi 17 mm, Bilaspur, Sangrah in Sirmuar, Poantasahib , Kandaghat in Solan and Bajoura in Kullu 16 mm. Kasol, Dehra Gopipur and Sarkaghat in Mandi 14 mm.
The Vehicular traffic shut down at after snowfall at snow city Narkanda in Shimla diverting traffic on an alternate route Basantpur to Sainj today, Police Officer said.
Minimum temperature of Keylong was minus three degrees, Kalpa minus one degrees, Manali zero degrees, Dalhousie minus 0.1 degrees, Kufri 0.5 degrees, Shimla 3.6 degrees, Dharmshala 4.6 degrees, Palampur 3.7 degress, Solan seven degrees, Bhuntar 7.5 degress Bilaspur and Hamirpur eight, Chamba 8.2 degrees, Kangra 8.7 degrees, Mandi nine degrees, Una 9.2 degrees, Sundernagar 9.5 degrees,and Nahan 11.5 degrees respectively.
