Sobat Ali seeks votes to make Bahu model constituency

JAMMU, Sept 29: On the last day of campaigning, Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) Bahu constituency candidate, Sobat Ali met the people during door-to-door visits at Bahu Fort area, Bathindi, Narwal, Sainik Colony, Chowadhi and other pockets of the constituency and appealed them to vote in his favour so that he can resolve the problems of the areas with the authority of an elected public representative.
Sobat Ali also listened to the problems which people of the areas were facing since long.
The locals of Bahu constituency raised the issues of unemployment, poor water and power supply, drug addiction, increase in crime, poor drainage facilities, non-functional street lights etc.
Responding to the issues raised by the public, Sobat Ali said that he will soon take these issues to the concerned authorities for a solution.
The senior DPAP leader and former JMC Councillor said that previous representatives of the constituency never paid any heed to the issues of public and remained busy in minting money.
“If voted to victory, my priority will be to tackle the deadly issue of drug addiction,” Sobat Ali said.
