JAMMU, Aug 12: Senior Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) leader and Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Sobat Ali Choudhary of Ward number 74 here today started drain work in different parts of Sainik Colony.
The Councillor first started construction work of drains in Sainik Colony Extension-D (Indira Enclave) area and then in another area near a prominent school in Sainik Colony.
Speaking on the occasion Sobat Ali said that all the developmental works in the Ward shall be completed soon.
He asked the residents of his Ward to avoid single use plastic and maintain cleanliness in their areas.
The Councillor also stressed on the people to use the services of garbage collecting auto moving from door-to-door and stop throwing garbage here and there.
He said that all the people of his Ward are free to meet him if they face any sanitation or development related issue.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were S. Kirpal Singh, S. Rajinder Singh, Capt Parshotam Sharma, Rakesh Sharma, Rashpal Sharma, Romesh Kumar, Kamal, Sachin Verma, Mohd Sadeeq and JE of JMC Division-5 Karan Gupta.
