JAMMU, Apr 4: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Sobat Ali of Ward number 74 here today started drain work in Sector-D extension of Sainik Colony.
Drains of the area were in dilapidated condition since long and the locals of the area were facing a lot of problems due to that especially in rainy days.
They brought the issue into the notice of Councillor, Sobat Ali who took the same with the concerned authorities in JMC and funds were released for the work which was started today.
Speaking on the occasion Sobat Ali said that other works of the Ward shall also be taken up at the earliest and will be completed soon so that the public may face no hardship.
He ensured the people of his Ward to bring the issues of their areas to his notice and he will try his best to get them resolved.
Rajinder Sharma, Sachin Verma, Karan Gupta and others were also present on the occasion.
