JAMMU, Jan 31: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Sobat Ali Choudhary of Ward number 74 here today started construction work of lane and drain at Jallallabad area of Sunjwan in his Ward.
The work will be completed at an expenditure of Rs. 12 lakh and the condition of the lane and drain in the area was very bad.
Speaking on the occasion the JMC Councillor said that with the completion of lane and drain work the people of the area will heave a sigh of relief.
He further said that other problems of the area shall also be sorted out soon and asked the locals to maintain cleanliness in their areas by properly disposing garbage, avoiding polythene and plastic etc.
JMC team along with locals Dr. Zaheer, Dr. Sadeeq, Numberdar Gulam Rasool, Wali Mohd, Qoutab Din, Majid Kasana, Usman Koli, Contractor Ismayal Malik and others were also present on the occasion.
