JAMMU, Feb 17: Social Activist, Muzaffar Ahmed of village Sangla, Surankote, District Poonch received ‘Mahatma Gandhi Excellence Award 2020’ from Face Group Media, Events & Films at Delhi.
The event was organized by Face Group Media wherein personalities belonging to different fields were honored with ‘Mahatma Gandhi Excellence Award 2020’ for their unprecedented contribution in their field of work.
Recently, Muzaffar was honoured with the ‘South Asian Youth Development Award 2019’ by International Yo Mruth Development Council during ‘South Asian Youth Development Summit-2019’ at Kathmandu Nepal.
Also, International Youth Committee has honoured him with ‘National Youth Icon Awards 2019’ on September 27, 2019 during ‘World Youth Summit 2019’ at Constitution Club of India, New Delhi.
Muzaffar is the founder of ‘Public Peace and Development Foundation’ a youth-led Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) working for the education of Conflict affected Children and youth at the Line of Control in Rajouri and Poonch Districts.
Earlier, he worked as National Youth Volunteer with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan.
