JAMMU, Mar 3: In a function here today former member of Railway Advisory Board, Nitish Mahajan (also a social activist) joined Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP).
Welcoming Mahajan into the party fold, Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister said Nitish’s entry into BJP shall definitely boost the morale of BJP cadre and will help to take the policies of Government to the grassroot level.
Ch Talab Hussain, former Member Parliament; Vikram Randhawa, MLC; Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor JMC; Ashwani Sharma, former MLA; Yudveer Sethi, State General Secretary of BJP; Pawan Singh, Jyoti Devi, Ajay Gupta, Lucky Puri, Baldev Baloria (all Corporators), many Sarpanchs and Naib Sarpanch were also present on the occasion along with thousands of people from different parts of Jammu city.
Speaking on the occasion Vikram Randhawa and Chander Mohan Gupta hailed the contributions of Nitish as a social activist.
